Teach a class
at fashion week.
Five teaching slots on our backstage beauty floor. You bring the concept and your following. We bring the room, the production, the audience and the ticketing. You keep the majority of what you sell.

What this is
Your class.
Our production.
On October 17 our Backstage Beauty Bar runs as a working beauty floor through two runway shows. Alongside the live model calls, five artists will each teach a class to a paying room of emerging hair and makeup professionals. You design the class. You promote it to your own audience. You sell seats and keep the majority of the revenue. We provide everything else — and your students get something no classroom can offer them.
Your students work the show
Anyone who takes your class can be credentialed to assist on the model call for that day's runway shows, under your direction and our key artist. They leave with a fashion week credit, not just a certificate. It is the reason a seat in your class is worth more than a seat anywhere else.
Who is watching
Emerging artists, cosmetology and beauty students, salon owners, brand teams, press and content creators, moving through a floor that also holds the live model call for thirty designers' worth of looks.

Who
Who is in the building.
You are not teaching into an empty room at a trade show. This is who is on site that day.
The terms
Straightforward,
and in your favour.
Class tickets are sold through our store so that promotion, checkout and attendee credentialing all run in one place. You receive a tracked link and discount code, you see your sales, and we settle with you within [10] business days of the show.
Within the capacity of the teaching space. Most classes of this kind land between $[75] and $[150] a seat.
SFWRUNWAY retains [50%], which covers the space, the build, ticketing, promotion, credentialing and the content produced around your class.
Payable on confirmation and credited back against your first [$500] in ticket sales. It exists so that a slot held is a slot used.
No approvals, no restrictions. We will also send you our own footage of your class.
How to apply
Three steps.
Send your concept
One paragraph on what you would teach and who it is for, plus your bio, headshot and three images of your work.
We confirm your slot
We review for range across the five classes, then send your agreement, your tracked link and your code.
You sell and we promote
You go to your audience, we go to ours, and your class appears in the run of show and the programme.
Five slots. October 17.
Send a concept and we will come back to you quickly — the teaching schedule has to lock well before the show so it can be promoted properly.
